Design Philosophy

When approaching design there are many aspects that contribute, however I see the final, successful output as a creative expression of a problem, solved. Although the process of design is not standardized, it is the role of the designer to ensure the final output is meeting its full potential, meaning it is a synthesis of creativity and function. Within my work, I constantly question each design while reflecting on creative endeavours that are all around.

This results in a consciousness in creativity. Within my work it is important to break the design down to its bare bones structure and see what is supporting it, in order to better understand its function and purpose. It is only through this that a designer can then begin to add more to the aesthetic level of the work. Design does not exist within a vacuous nebulous, and the importance of sharing and working within a team is integral to the output that meets the needs of the client.
